Linda Patalive

I began batiking on cotton. Later my interest moved to silk because of the rich, vibrant colors. I use many techniques including batik, shibori, silk screen, stamping, discharging and silk painting. A combination of these methods produces a layered look and one of a kind pieces. My work includes scarves, wall pieces and clothing which are often embellished with hand stitching, beads or metallic accents.
